In a lean week for unique predictions Psycho wins this week, with his prediction of Newcastle 2 Aston Villa 1, Psycho scored 3 points, Bob and Vinny scored 2 points and Lucas Martin and Steven scored no points.

When Joe Kinnear isn't shouting and swearing at the press like a drunk man desperate for an Egg McMuffin he's actually restoring a bit of pride up at St. James Park, he's carried them out of the bottom 3 and up to 14th in the table. He's got a squad that has has obvious quality playing for each other and not for themselves. On the other hand this result is a real blow for Villa, on the weekend where there Liverpool and Arsenal both lost they needed a win to really step up there claim to finish 4th. As it stands now you can see them as a lock to be the best of the rest and finish 5th but with a reported 30 million to spend in January Villa's main aim should be to stay as high as possible till the transfer window and then see just how deep Randy Learner's pockets are.
