This week's P.O.W goes to Steven for his prediction of Hull 1 - Liverpool 3, with Steven picking up all 5 points and everyone else picking up 1 point.
"Uh oh, Hulls in trouble, something's come along and burst their bubble." Shampoo's classic hit "Trouble" wasn't written about Hull's end of season collapse, mainly because it was released 15 years ago, but few songs fit Hull's current run as well as the song that Smash Hits called "infectious pop fun". Hull were flying earlier in the season, but a run of form that sees them with only 1 win in 18 Premiership games shows that had they not had such a great start, they would of already been confined to relegation. If Hull are to survive they are going to need a big up-turn in form and your humble P.O.W writer isn't convinced they have it in them. Liverpool's season is over - no longer in any cups and all but out of the league, so looking forward to next season they need to keep Torres fit and stop buying awful players, and they may just cross the finish line as Champions.
Steven picks up his 3rd P.O.W win with this beauty. A four point difference on every other Predictor is exactly what The Predicta League is all about. Will this be enough to scoop the coveted Prediction of the Year award? I couldn't possibly be so bold as to say, but what i can tell you is that with 24 other P.O.W's to pick from, the competition is fierce.
Kudos to you Steven, Kudos
