Even if you don't count the necrophilia POW has had a busy week, I mean corpse bashing aside POW hasn't lied down once! POW has been buzzing from one place to the next like a drunk humming bird, why's that POW? you might ask if your too impatient to read the next 4 lines or so. Well I'll tell you, its because of the Predicta Cup of course! Not since Stonehenge has POW been so excited about a project. The soon to be most famous cup competition in the world got off to an absolute flyer this week. The draw offered up some cracking ties and not one failed to deliver. Wayne vs Psycho went all the way to the decider and Wayne may think himself a bit unlucky to not advance into the Quarter Final. Dyche vs Alex, was closer than a lot of people thought it would be with Alex doing just enough to sneak into the next round. Kris vs Barton was a tie that could of gone either way but in the end it was Barton who advances. I don't think any one needs reminding of the bad blood that exists between Steven and Robert, and it took corners to separate these fierce rivals, with Robert getting one over his rival in the end. All eyes were on the glamour tie of the round with Steve vs Lucas capturing the imagination of the public. The feisty new comer vs the man who put the league on the map. In the end experience proved the deciding factor and all the doubters were provided wrong as Lucas made it through. The Predicta Cup really hit the ground running and the only downside is that we have to wait till May for the next round! Who will be the first ever winner? Who knows, but POW will be counting the days till we find out!

Capes is within 1 point of top position as we enter the last 13 weeks of the league, Martin was born on the 13 of October, Coincidence? Probably. But the league seemed over at Christmas and yet here we are. We all know Capes is a strong finisher, just look at his form from the last 2 seasons as we entered the final stages. Can he do it? POW is starting to believe, are you?
