This Weeks Winner is Martin Capewell
If there was any justice in this world Nelson Madela Bay would be called POW's Fun Time Nude Beach and Go Kart Emporium. But because the world sees helping bring about the end of racial segregation as a more noble achievement than winning the beach volley ball competition 3 years in a row Mandela gets all the credit while POW get Bupkiss! And another thing what's with all the flowered shirts Mandela wears? You would think a person who spent so long in prison would want a varied wardrobe! But nope same shirt for every day from good old Nelson! (POW would like to take this opportunity to state that he isn't against the beliefs of Mr. Mandela, in fact for 25 years POW was a black man and he could never get a taxi so he knows about there plight, but something about Mandela just gets on POW's wick). Anyway on to football its pretty great isn't it? POW could complain about dodgy referees or a certain cheating frenchmen (who POW always said was a bit of a bastard but no one listened) but lets not forget that for all its fault its still pretty flipping great and the only real reason to get out of bed in a morning.
The People's Champion of The Predicta League, Martin is the foundation upon which the league was built and is one of the leagues most beloved characters, and put simply he deserves to win this simply because he hasn't won a P.O.W. this season. But while he will be tickled pink to win P.O.W. Martin will only be happy if this is the season he finally captures the Predicta League title he so covets! Martin is always there for the league and whether he's poking some fun or drinking some rum the league will always be there for him.
