Cleopatra maybe coming at ya, but POW is coming in now! POW has been involved in a few scandals in his time, sleeping with Cleopatra, making the tower in Pisa lean, and of course his involvement in the great fire of london. But even POW hasn't been involved in as many scandals as Football has recently. The papers have brought out the usual lazy headlines of all footballers being spoilt, obsessed with money and running around destroying society. But who honestly cares? There footballers, the only thing we should care about is if they turned up on saturday and gave it there all. For 90 minutes a week the lads life is mine, I'll cheers for him and occasionally bollock him, but the second that final whistle goes he can go out and pay midgets to whip him while a goose licks jam off his genitals for all I care (done that, not as fun as it sounds). Should a married man cheat on his wife? Of course not, but they don't cheat because there footballers they cheat because there human and they want to. Everyday the papers are full of stuff about people you don't know doing things that if your own neighbour was doing you wouldn't care about. Is this the week Steve won the title? No, but this was the week Steve said he wasn't giving up his grip on first place with out a fight. 2 last minute goals saw Steve move 6 points clear of the pack just when it looked like they could catch him. Champions win when they need to and that's what Steve did this week.
