Predictor

This Weeks Week Predictor of the Week is Gary Capewell, for finally breaking the 20 point barrier

The first month of the 09/10 season has drawn to a close and the battle to claim an early advantage is in full effect, POW hasn't seen fighting this intense since he was a plucky young Private at The First Battle of Marne September 6, 1914, and I think we all remember how that turned out. The addition of the new members has seen the quality required to win a week increase to an untold level. whereas before a score ranging between 18-23 would all but guarantee victory now preds are having to score 25+ just to be in with a shout.

One Person who suffered because of this higher level of quality was defending champion Gary Capewell. Many peoples favourite to be the first predictor to win back to back titles, Gary was having more trouble getting points than a man with a thumb for a nose would have getting a girlfriend. In fact things got so bad that as of week 3 Gary found himself at the bottom of the table this was made all the worse by the fact that long term rival Psycho has started the season so well. Its always darkest before the dawn they say and maybe Vinny has used that motivation to kick start his season. He's not of the woods yet and he will need a hell of a turn around to close the 24 point gap between him and the top of the league but there are plenty more games to predict. Like the construction workers in New York he has an awful lot of work to do but he is getting there.

Round of Applause For You Gary

P.O.W. runners us: Psycho for going top of the league and Wayne for winning his first ever week
