This Weeks Week Predictor of the Week is Lucas, for being Mr. Consistency.
When POW was just a little pow he dreamed of being a world class footballer, he soon achieved that dream. He then went on to dream of fame, fortune and an ass that just won't quit, those lofty ambitions soon became a reality as well. In fact everything POW set his mind to POW achieved. He even once bested Jules Verne in a Race around the world (it only took POW 72 days). So it was no surprise when POW changed his format and it became the unqualified success that it has, Because of this format shift POW is able to reward those that don't get the attention they deserve but he is also able to give a good swift kick up the bottom to those that really should be doing better. Because nothing makes POW's piss boil like unfulfilled potential.
They say that consistency is the true mark of a champion, while that may be true the other sign of a champion is to actually win some things. Since the begining of the season Lucas has scored 20-20-21-18-21-21 in each week respectively, that takes some doing and while last season that would of almost certainly won at least one week, this year its meant he has only been in the top 2 once. And for any normal predictor that would be considered a good steady start but the fact is the League expects better of Lucas. He's the torch bearer, he sets the standards of which we aspire to, but while it seems The Predicta League is moving forward its most famous son is standing still. If Lucas is to live up to the expectation that surrounded him at the begining of the season, then he needs to lose the consistency and start reigning in the big scores.
