This Weeks Winner is Bob
POW hates Dick Van Dyke, for longer than he can remember on of POW's ambitions has been to completely destroy him. "Diagnose this Van Dyke!" He would scream before delivering the final death blow. Having a nemesis can often bring out the best in people it makes them more motivated to succeed at the expense of said rival. Would the timeless show that is The Muppet Babies still be as popular with out the good natured but still very real rivalry between Kermit and Gonzo? Of course because that show was awesome but the point remains valid. In football derby games are for many the highlight of the season even as a neutral the games are usually far more entertaining than a game when the 2 competitors are simply playing for points, the fans are louder and the players are more motivated to win which usually makes the games far harder to predict. With another major derby coming up this weekend in the form of Arsenal vs Tottenham the smart predictor is the one who knows that form while important can't be relied upon and can adapt to predict these tricky games.
When POW restarted POW he said that the winner of the week would not necessarily win POW, in the last 2 weeks Bob and Kris have done this elusive double. This is not some sort off back track on POW's behalf but rather evidence of how important this last 2 wins have been in terms of the league. Last Season Bob suffered a end of season collapse that saw him receive the wooden spoon, this season while he hasn't been setting the league on fire Bob has easily managed to stay out of the bottom 3. It's up to Bob to continued this and lets hope that he doesn't start to slip again and become snowed under!
