The Official Predicta League Rules

1. All predictions must be completed by the first kick-off of match day.

If predictions are not completed by kick-off, the player will receive straight 1-0 home wins for the full day's fixtures. They will not receive any of the 5 points for any fixture that finishes 1-0.

If a player misses a full weekend of fixtures, they are still required to pay the winner the agreed amount.

If a player misses a fixture off of their predictions, they receive a 1-0 home win for that fixture, and any other fixture that is missed in the predictions. If the missed number of fixtures is below 3, they are still able to earn the full 5 points for the missed fixtures.

If unable to post predictions on the internet, the player is allowed to send a copy of their predictions to another player, as long as the results are received before kick-off on match day.

2. All entrants must be over 18 years of age.

3. If a player misses 3 full fixtures in a row, or 5 over a season he will be removed from the league.

4. All predictions must be your own and not copied from any source.

5. All predictions are based on 90 minutes of football and do not take into account extra time or penalties.

6. Amount bet each week is determined by the selected predictor for the week.

Amount must be different to amount bet in the previous week.

Amount must not be more than £5.

Amount must be an even pound figure i.e. £1.00, £2.00, etc.

7. In the event of a draw, the winner will be decided by the number of 5 point results achieved over the course of the set fixture period.

If predictors share the same number of 5 point results gained over the course of a set fixture period, it is an official draw.

If any predictors are drawn at the end of the season then a final finishing position will be decided by the number of 5 point results collected throughout the season.

If the predictors share an equal amount of 5 point results at the end of the season, then the number of 0 pointers will be used to decide the final finishing position.

If the event of the predictors sharing an equal number of 5 point results and subsequently 0 point results, then the FA Cup or Champions League Final will be used as a one game play-off. The predictor who gains the most points on that fixture will be declared the winner.

The choice of whether to predict the Champions League or FA Cup Final result will be decided by a coin toss, which must be witnessed by the involved predictors, and at least one other member of The Predicta League.

8. Week 1 of The Predicta League must be for the minimum allowed bet and the last week of The Predicta League must be for the maximum allowed bet.

9. Predictors involved in the Weekly betting must have enough in the predicta bank to cover that weeks bet, if they do not and win then they will recieve no prize money.
